Little Mountain Baptist Church was established 87 years ago and has been a beacon of light in the community ever since that time. This church was started in a peach shed and moved to mountain a few years later. I am proud to be the 8th Pastor to serve this great congregation. I am currently in my 32th year in the ministry and my 10th year as Pastor of Little Mountain Baptist Church. The motto of LMBC is "Seek His Will" - Deut 4:29. We want to be focused on Christ in every circumstance in life.
On a personal note I am married to Amy Godfrey who is a retired teacher in Greenville County Schools. We have three children: Morgan lives in Inman with our beautiful granddaughter Hadley, Sam and his wife Lexi live in Inman with our two beautiful grandchildren Macie and our Asher. Our youngest son Luke attends Bob Jones University where he plays baseball for the Bruins.
I am a proud veteran of The United States Marine Corps. During my time in the Marine Corps I served in Operation Desert Shield/Storm. I was very blessed to me able to serve this great country we call home.
