The Pastor’s Daily Minute Vol. 13

Monday, May 27, 2024 --- 1st Samuel 17:32 And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine.

Thought of the Day: As a Christian how would you answer the call today from God. David saw a need to stand up for God and face the giant. The giants might seem invincible but not if you are fully trusting in God. God is the answer to how you overcome your giants in life today. Will you trust God today to help you overcome the giants of your life.

Tuesday, May 28, 2024 --- Exodus 15:2 2 The Lord is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him.

Thought of the Day: This is a simple line of the song the children of Israel sang to God. The message in the verse is that God was everything to them in life. The strength of their lives. As you walk through this day is God the strength of your life. Can you truly say you are happy and in love with God? I would hope that you would find the time to day to talk with God and let Him become your God in life. My prayer for you today is that God would be your strength and your God.

Wednesday, May 29, 2024 --- Mark 1:3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

Thought of the Day --- John the Baptist was used to sound the alarm that the Lord was coming. The times might have changed but the message has not changed. Will you take this opportunity to share the same message that John the Baptist shared with the world that the Lord is coming. Today is a great day to communicate to those around you the love of God and promise of His word to return for His children.

Thursday, May 30, 2024 ---Acts 4 :1-2 And as they spake unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,2 Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead.

Thought of the Day: The world might not like for you to speak up for God, but God gives strength to those that love Him. Will you be a mouthpiece for God today? Someone around you might just need to hear a positive loving word today will it be you that shares that word to them.

Friday, May 31, 2024 ---Philemon 1:19 I Paul have written it with mine own hand, I will repay it: albeit I do not say to thee how thou owest unto me even thine own self besides.

Thought of The Day: Paul used this opportunity to help Onesimus, which was in need of his help. Will you use this day to help someone in need like Paul did in the book of Philemon? Paul was even willing to repay need debt that Onesimus might have incurred during this time. Will you follow Paul’s love for Onesimus and forgive someone today?

Saturday, June 1, 2024 --- Ecclesiastes 3:6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

Thought of the Day: Time is measured in many ways in life. You might measure it by the time you are in school, or years you work at one place or another. You might measure it by when your vacation comes around each year. The truth of the matter is time is measured by the day that God gives you. When you awake up each day that is more time God gives you in life. So don’t waste the most precious gift you have in life. This day is a gift from God allow it to be refreshing and rewarding.
